27. Watch for grocery store "sale" ads and shop the store's specials.
40. Avoid convenience stores. They're more expensive.
45. Look for damaged merchandise and ask for price reductions: dented cans, crushed cartons, outdated bakery goods, bruised produce, etc.

A Homemade Shake And Bake! 1 cup flour 1 cup cracker crumbs 1 tablespoon sugar 2 teaspoons italian seasoning 1 ts oil Mix and store in refrigerator. Put a small amount in a plastic bag and shake together with potatoes that are cut into 1/2 -1 inch. Put 1/4 cup oil in baking sheet or cast iron skillet. Bake coated potato pieces in skillet at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until they brown. |
